Brave Monday — We Show Up

Brave Monday — We Show Up

It doesn't matter if you're on top of the world, or even at rock bottom, or something in between. I personally couldn't care less. You are welcome at the table.

On 18. September we're holding our first Google Meet in Norwegian. On 25. September we're holding our first Google Meet in English. This isn't about titles, success stories, or who has it all together. It's about showing up as you are.

Here's the truth: we either connect, or we don't. And when we don't, life gets smaller. Disconnection is silent, it eats at you, and it convinces you that nobody would understand anyway. But connection — even one voice, one question, one moment of honesty — can break that spell.

These meetings are built on the writings at ristgruppen.com — blogs on self-help and mental health. That's our starting point. As we develop, things may change. But to begin with, the first Google Meet will be a simple RIST blog talk — a space to talk, listen, and share around the themes we've already been writing about.

This isn't a lecture. It's a conversation. You can talk, you can listen, or you can just show up quietly. It all counts.

Google Meet won't fix your life. But it might break the silence. It might remind you that you're not the only one carrying something heavy. And it might even surprise you — because when people talk and listen honestly, change happens.

You don't need to impress anyone here. You don't need the right words. Just showing up is enough. Even typing one question in the chat can shift the whole room. That's the power of being human together.

And remember this:

"Do to others as you would have them do to you." (Luke 6:31)
This has nothing to do with being kind. It's about truth. It's about giving people the honesty, respect, and straight talk you'd want if the roles were reversed.

September 18 (Norwegian). September 25 (English). Google Meet. We show up.
