BraveMonday – Fear

                              BraveMonday – Fear

"Courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it."

Fear is one of the most human feelings we carry. It warns us, it protects us, but it also limits us. Too often, fear becomes the reason we hold back from living fully. We don't send the message, we don't try the new thing, we don't take the first step—because fear whispers that failure is certain, that rejection is unbearable, that we are not enough.

But here's the truth: fear is a liar. It exaggerates the danger and underestimates your strength. Fear tells you a story of weakness, but courage writes a different ending.

Courage doesn't mean waiting until fear disappears. It means moving forward while fear is still present. It means showing up with shaking hands, a racing heart, and still saying: "I will try." Every time you take a step through fear, no matter how small, you grow stronger. And every time you let fear decide for you, it grows stronger instead.

This week, ask yourself: What is one thing fear has been holding me back from? Name it. Write it down. And then commit to taking one small action toward it. Fear will shrink when you face it.

Bravery begins on Mondays—but it doesn't have to end there.

We've had 4 who have sent in to be with us on our first Google Meet. The first will be in Norwegian on 18 September, and the second in English on 25 September. More details to come — but if fear has been telling you to stay silent or stay alone, maybe this is your chance to take a brave step with us.

With courage,
Raymond and Ken
